We’re Morgan and Joshua Scott, the team behind Well Stated. We’re Columbia University graduates with backgrounds in executive recruiting, research, and professional writing.
Our work has required us to evaluate candidates’ experience against the requirements of a role and explain their qualifications to employers. That means going beyond a list of responsibilities to understand what someone has accomplished and which details support their application. When we write your resume, we apply that same judgment to what we include, what we emphasize, and how we explain your experience.

A few helpful details
Your existing resume, the types of jobs you want, and any recent experience or achievements that need to be added. A job posting is optional for every request, including a tailored resume focused on a particular role or field. If you’re starting from scratch, we’ll begin with your work history and education.
Yes. Every service includes one round of changes. After receiving your first draft, you’ll have seven calendar days to review it and email us your feedback in one message. We’ll return the revised resume within two business days.
Your selected turnaround applies to the first draft. If you need the revised resume by an application deadline, please tell us before booking so we can confirm whether we can meet it.
No. Each listed price is the total for one resume. A 48-hour resume is $105 total, for example. We’ll confirm that your requested timeline is available before you pay.
If you cancel before we begin writing, we’ll refund your payment in full. Once writing has begun, payments are nonrefundable. Please email us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
We’ll email you when we have everything we need and are starting your resume. If we’re unable to complete your order, we’ll refund your payment in full. The missed-deadline policy below also applies.
If we miss your confirmed first-draft deadline, you can agree to a new deadline or, if we haven’t delivered your first draft, cancel for a full refund.
If you choose a new deadline for an expedited order, we’ll refund the rush premium: the difference between your total payment and the $55 seven-calendar-day price.
We use straightforward layouts and readable text designed for online applications and human readers. No formatting can guarantee how every application system will process a file, so you’ll receive Word and PDF versions to match the employer’s instructions.
No writer can promise a hiring outcome. What we offer is a thoughtfully written resume that accurately presents your experience. Cover letters, LinkedIn rewrites, and application submissions are not included in this launch offer.
